The Simpsons : Tapped Out
Electronic Arts INC
Have
you ever played a farming simulation game called FarmVille? If you have and you
enjoy this kind of games, you would love The Simpsons Tapped out by Electronic
Arts. The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a freemium game which you can build and
manage every character and features of Springfield of The Simpsons. Literally,
you get to build your own Springfield of The Simpsons.
Reviews
As
you play, you will be given lots quests, which is mostly about building stuff
or ordering characters to do things. As the story goes on, you will obtain more
and more characters from The Simpsons such as Ned Flanders, Apu, Skinner and so
on (Simply most of the characters of The Simpsons). This game is like owning a
Special Collection for The Simpsons which makes people get addicted. Whenever
users build houses and order characters to do something, they have to wait
certain amount of time based on quests or buildings. Quests start from 30s jobs
to 24hrs of job for each character, also construction time for the buildings
are different for each construction too. As users go deeper and deeper, they
have to wait longer and longer. However if you use donuts you can shorten the
time and end the quest and building time. But you have to be careful, since
donuts are hard to get, and after you used them all you might want to purchase
them which makes this game freemium. It is free but it makes you want to pay
more and more, on the other hand, it is good for killing time, you can play 5
minutes per day and someday your town would be much bigger and similar to real
Springfield.
We
gave 4.5 out of 5 for Graphics, it is not 3D game. Animation looks so neat and
very detailed. It is almost like watching The Simpsons on your phone. Also, the
voice acting makes the game more enjoyable. They used every character’s
authentic voices.
We
gave 4.0 for Control. Since it is a simple game, you don’t need any control
skills. However sometimes you might tap “Use donut” button by mistake. Maybe my
thumb is too big or not. But still you can cancel it if you are fast enough.
For
the Easiness, definitely 5 out of 5. It sure is easy, and tutorials are really
helpful.
We
gave 3.5 for the size. App itself is about 49.41mb however, after updating it
is about 200mb total, kind of big for simple 2D game.
Thank you for reading this.
